2009 Silent Auction Results

The Silent Auction did really well at the 2009 conference. We made $1650.00! We were pleased with that amount since we had no big ticket items this year. The most expensive item we had was a starting bid of one hundred dollars. We made our money the old fashioned way, one dollar at a time.

The NACAT Education Foundation is sending a big THANK YOU to everyone who brought items to the conference for us to sell. We especially want to thank long-time member, Royce Foster, who divested himself of some of his treasures. Someone is going to be happy to get that cast metal airplane or Indy 500 belt buckle as a Christmas gift! Let Royce serve as your example and please be thinking of some of your treasures that you can bring to next year's auction. The last hour of the auction was very exciting as NACAT members hovered around to see whether someone had out bid them. All of the auction items were first class, and NACAT members know a good buy when they see one.

Thank you to all who bid on items at the auction and to those who donated items to the auction. Thank you to all who had a winning bid and bought our auction items. Thanks to CPCC for letting us set-up on the lift; it made a great display area. We really appreciate you making room for us at the trade show.

With your assistance, we can make the 2010 NACAT Education Foundation Silent Auction bigger and better than it has ever been.
