The NACAT Education Foundation is pleased to announce the 2009 Award/Scholarship winners.  A short comment on each winner is provided below and a complete release is provided through the menu links to the left and through the drop down menu above.

• NACAT Education Foundation New Automotive Teacher Award: Thomas Chandler, of Laurens District 55 High School in Laurens, South Carolina, was awarded $1000.

• Gates Corporation NACAT State Chapter Assistance Award: The Georgia Chapter of NACAT was awarded $500 by Gates Corporation.

• Gates Corporation NACAT Conference Attendance Scholarship Award Winner: This $1500 Award was presented to Tim Dwyer of Oklahoma State University of Technology.

• Gates Corporation NACAT Conference Attendance Award First Runner-Up: Baxter Weed, of Cold Hollow Career Center in Enosburg Falls, Vermont, received $1000 from Gates Corporation as first runner-up.
