There are some new and exciting ways you can help the NACAT Education Foundation. We have recently signed up with "Good Search", "Good Shop", and "eBay Giving Works with Mission Fish". What does this mean? It means that even your day-to-day activities can help raise funds for the NACAT Education Foundation so that we will be able to create more offerings of assistance in the future.
Here is a little information on the services:
•GoodSearch/Good Shop: Using Good Search provides about $0.01 per search to the Foundation. Good Shop has connections with over 1500 online retailers who all donate a variant percentage of sales to a 501(c)3 as indicated by the shopper. This does not cost the non-profit or the shopper anything extra as all prices at the stores are the same as just going directly to the site. To use these services, simply go to http://www.goodsearch.com where you will be asked what charity you support. Simply type in NACAT and they will confirm that you search and/or shop for the NACAT Education Foundation. Then, whenever you use their search the Foundation will earn $0.01 per search and when you use Good Shop we will receive donations from 0.25% - 35% of the total purchase price -- at NO EXTRA EXPENSE to the purchaser (you)!
•eBay Giving Works with Mission Fish: This will allow organizations (and individuals) to auction off their goods on eBay and donate the proceeds to the Foundation (with “no” auction fees – if the item sells and you choose to donate 100% of the proceeds). Of course, you don't have to donate 100%, you can donate any percentage you would like. To use this service, simply go to the NACAT Education Foundation eBay Giving Works Page where you will have the option to sell your items and have the program explained.
•Network For Good: It should be noted that we also added a simple donation platform (in addition to the PayPal donation form available at the NACAT Education Foundation web site home page or the donation options presented in the menu to the left) which allows US and Canadian members to donate and get instant tax receipts.
