2013 NACAT Education Foundation Trainer Award

The NACAT Education Foundation is proud to provide ALL non-selling educators/trainers the opportunity to apply for the “NACAT Education Foundation Trainer Award” to assist with expenses incurred with presenting at the Annual NACAT Conference, July 22-26, 2013.
The intent of this award is to provide assistance with travel and to relieve some of the financial burden associated with presenting at the conference. Conference information is available at www.nacatconference.org.
Eligibility Criteria for Award:
- Educator/Trainer is NOT selling physical or intellectual property at the NACAT Conference.
- Educator/Trainer exhibits a financial need.
- Educator/Trainer must agree to sustain the additional conference and travel expenses not covered by the NACAT Education Foundation Trainer Scholarship.
- The Educator/Trainer is not the recipient of another NACAT Education Foundation award for this year but is encouraged to apply for all awards eligible.
Terms of Award:
- Scholarship will be known as the “NACAT Education Foundation Trainer Award” and is to be administered by the NACAT Education Foundation.
- There are two scholarship awards available that will provide $500 each to recipients towards offsetting the expenses of presenting at the NACAT Conference.
- Winners must both register to present and physically present at the NACAT Conference.
Application for Scholarship:
Nominees are required to submit the following materials by April 1 to the NACAT Education Foundation office on school/business letterhead:
- A cover letter indicating your application for this award and how it would benefit you as a presenter.
- A short resume describing your current and past training experiences including topics of expertise and topic to present at the NACAT Conference.
- Since the awards are “Need-Based”, please explain your financial need and describe the extent to which the scholarship is necessary for you to be able to present at the NACAT Conference. Supporting documentation is appreciated; However, do not send anything that could compromise your finances if delivered to an incorrect address.
Award applications will be reviewed during April.
It is the responsibility of the winner to submit conference paperwork, prepay any fees, and make all travel arrangements.
The award will be presented at the NACAT Awards Banquet. If any of the awards are not presented, the funds will revert back to the NACAT Education Foundation.
